Joao Mauricio Adeodato, Knowledge and Irrationality. A Criticism of Nicolai's Hartmann Ontology in Legal Philosophy
This paper describes the tentative of objectification of knowledge and ethics present in the work of Nicolai Hartmann, one of the last ontological philosophers of the twentieth century. Such description takes as a central theme the problem of irrationality as a limit to epistemology, opposing to ontological conceptions such as Hartmann's a more skeptical and heuristic theory of knowledge, apparently more adequate to a philosophy which aims to understand contemporary law in a highly complex society.
